0940-1140 Data evaluation procedure of the I-CoIs (TA,DC,JR,CW)

All I-CoI present the structure of their different data level algorithms:

• General
• Emphasis on instrument checkout and verification, i.e. log-files, auxillary level 1 files.
• Discuss principles of Level 1 to Level 2 transfer.
  • Iterative quality control of data using preliminary scientific results.
• Simulated data, need spacecraft data

1300-1430 VIRGO operations (BA, CW)

• All commands defined such that they can be used in time-tagged mode, that is excecuted during non-contact periods. Not switch-on commands, only in real time. Plan operations and commanding on a weekly basis to ensure command excecution outside contact periods.
• Consequences for specific instrument operational requirements.
• Specific instrument operations
• Cruise phase operations proposal
• Use of cruise phase to confirm technical/scientific performance
